To learn how to breed Shugabush, use the Breeding Structure on Plant Island and combine a level 15 Bowgart with a level 15 Clamble. This is the recipe for the original Shugabush; Shugafam monsters are not substitutes for either parent.
A normal attempt takes 35 hours. An enhanced Breeding Structure reduces that time to 26 hours and 15 minutes. The timer is the first way to check whether the attempt produced Shugabush before you move the egg to the Nursery.
Shugabush breeding requirements on Plant Island
Prepare the following before starting:
- Island: Plant Island
- First parent: Bowgart, level 15
- Second parent: Clamble, level 15
- Breeding location: The Breeding Structure on Plant Island
Both parents must be at least level 15 for this breeding attempt. If your Bowgart or Clamble is below that level, feed it until it reaches level 15 before selecting it. Higher monster levels and active Wishing Torches can help with breeding chances, but they do not change the required combination.
Make sure you also have room in a Nursery. Once breeding finishes, the Shugabush egg must be moved into a Nursery to hatch. If the Nursery is occupied, clear a space before the breeding timer ends.
How to breed Shugabush with Bowgart and Clamble
- Open Plant Island.
- Tap the Breeding Structure.
- Select the level 15 Bowgart as one parent.
- Select the level 15 Clamble as the other parent.
- Confirm the combination and start breeding.
- Check the timer before spending Diamonds or using any speed-up option.
The order of the parents does not matter, so Bowgart can be selected first or second. The important detail is using Bowgart and Clamble together on Plant Island. Do not use a Shugafam breeding combination for this step: those combinations apply to later progression after you already have the original Shugabush.
How to breed a Shugabush: breeding time and success check
For the standard Breeding Structure, a successful Shugabush attempt shows a 35-hour timer. If you are using an enhanced Breeding Structure, the successful timer is 26 hours and 15 minutes. The enhanced timer represents the same monster, not a different Shugabush variant.
These timers identify the result while the parents are still breeding. A shorter timer means the attempt did not produce Shugabush. With this parent pair, the usual failed outcomes are one of the ordinary parent monsters, such as Bowgart or Clamble. Collect that result and repeat the same level 15 combination.
When the correct timer completes, send the egg to an available Nursery. The egg then needs to finish its incubation before it can hatch. The normal Shugabush incubation time is also 35 hours, or 26 hours and 15 minutes in an enhanced Nursery. If you use a speed-up, confirm that the egg is the Shugabush egg before completing the action.
After hatching, place Shugabush on Plant Island. The successful result is not complete merely because the breeding timer ended; the monster must finish Nursery incubation and hatch before you can use it for the next island step.
After you hatch Shugabush: move to Shugabush Island
Feed the newly hatched Shugabush until it reaches level 15. At that level, open its monster information panel and choose the option to Teleport it to Shugabush Island. Confirm the move when prompted.
Teleporting moves Shugabush off Plant Island, so make sure you are ready to place it on Shugabush Island before confirming. Once it arrives, you can begin the separate Shugafam progression there. The Shugafam combinations belong to this later island stage and are not the recipe for breeding the original Shugabush.
